An open-plan unit built around a full-height sliding door, so the living space opens straight onto a deck or yard. Cross-ventilated and easy to cool.
The Ziggy is designed around its sliding door. Open it and the living area extends onto whatever you build outside it — a deck, a slab, a shade structure — which is how most Territory households actually live.
The glazing is double glazed, so you get the light and the view without the heat load that normally comes with a big opening. Combined with the EPS panel walls and the insulated roof, the air conditioner does far less work than it would in a conventional demountable.
The Ziggy suits a rural block, a beachside second dwelling, or an office where you want the doors open in the dry season.
